We are seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager to lead and support the planning and execution of business and change readiness activities for the Finance Transformation Program (FTP). This role will be instrumental in enabling successful adoption of FTP-driven changes across Global Finance (GF) and impacted business units. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of strategic thinking, operational rigor, and change leadership to drive readiness across multiple work streams and stakeholder groups.
Key Responsibilities:Cross-Workstream Change and Business Readiness Planning & Execution
- Partner with FTP leadership, delivery teams, and cross-functional work streams to develop and execute business readiness strategies and plans for all FTP releases.
- Drive the sequencing, orchestration, and integration of readiness activities across Global Finance (GF) and business units, ensuring alignment with program milestones and business priorities.
- Assess, plan, and work with leads to coordinate readiness activities, across a variety of work streams including process remediation, data migration, BAU ramp-down, and business partner enablement.
- Collaborate with change champions, divisional finance officers (DFOs), and business SMEs to identify readiness gaps and co-create solutions that minimize disruption and maximize adoption.
- Translate complex transformation goals into actionable readiness plans, including stakeholder engagement, training, executive and sponsor level communications, and adoption metrics.
- Ensure readiness plans are integrated with broader FTP delivery plans, RAID logs, and governance forums.
- Serve as a strategic partner to GF leaders, business partners, and program stakeholders to ensure clarity, alignment, and ownership of readiness outcomes.
- Facilitate workshops, forums, and executive updates to drive awareness, alignment, and decision-making.
- Support the development of messaging artifacts, speaker packets, and campaign materials to enable consistent and compelling communication.
- Help activate and scale the FTP Change Activation Network, including onboarding and enabling change agents across both GF and other Business Units.
- Support the development of role-based readiness journeys and tailored enablement plans for key personas (e.g., CFOs, department heads, analysts, planners).
- Translate documented change impacts into coherent change strategies, identify moments that matter, develop change activation plans and work with change activation teams to coordinate and execute (comms, engagements, immersive learning sprints, workshops, other activations etc.)
- Track and report on readiness progress, risks, and mitigation strategies.
Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience leading large-scale transformation programs, ideally in finance, ERP, or enterprise data environments.
- S/4
HANA or ERP Transformation:
Experience supporting or leading readiness efforts for SAP S/4
HANA implementations or similar finance transformation initiatives. - Demonstrated knowledge of business readiness, best practices and playbooks.
- Finance Transformation Programs:
Familiarity with finance operating model changes, process redesign, and enablement of finance functions through technology and data. - Proven Ability to translate documented change impacts into coherent change strategies, identify moments that matter, develop change activation plans and work with change activation teams to execute plans (comms, engagements, activations tc.)
- Organizational Change Management (OCM):
Demonstrated experience in designing and executing OCM strategies, including stakeholder analysis, change impact assessments, change strategies and adoption planning. - Exceptional communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity, influence without authority, and drive outcomes across matrixed organizations.
- Experience with tools such as Wrike, SharePoint, and Microsoft Teams is a plus.
