Salary Range: $165,000 – $180,000 annually
Work Location: Irvine, CA – Onsite

Position SummaryThe Principal Salesforce Developer will serve as a key leader in advancing the company’s Salesforce ecosystem across Service, Sales, and Marketing Cloud. This role is accountable for leading platform implementation efforts, ongoing administration, and continuous optimization to ensure Salesforce effectively supports strategic business objectives.
As a senior technical leader, you will function as both architect and hands‑on developer, designing scalable, high‑performing Salesforce solutions that enhance sales, marketing, and customer service capabilities. You will collaborate closely with external implementation partners to review and validate solution designs, while mentoring internal team members to strengthen technical expertise. This position requires strong partnership with business stakeholders and IT leadership to translate business needs into practical, efficient, and user‑friendly Salesforce solutions that deliver measurable value.
MajorDuties and Responsibilities
- Design and implement end‑to‑end Salesforce solutions across Sales, Service, and Marketing Cloud aligned with business goals.
- Develop custom functionality and integrations using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and APIs.
- Configure and customize Salesforce capabilities including Case Management, Knowledge Base, Omni‑Channel, Service Console, Campaigns, Leads, Opportunities, Accounts, Contacts, CTI integrations, and AI‑powered features.
- Partner with cross‑functional teams including Commercial, Sales, Business, and Technical Analysts to gather and refine requirements.
- Convert complex business needs into scalable technical solutions following Salesforce best practices.
- Work with stakeholders to design intuitive features and streamline business processes.
- Oversee platform stability, administration, performance optimization, and ongoing support.
- Manage user licenses, monitor system health, and ensure long‑term scalability.
- Drive continuous improvements to enhance platform performance and user experience.
- Lead and mentor Salesforce developers and administrators.
- Establish development standards, conduct code reviews, and ensure architectural consistency.
- Define and oversee build, deployment, and release management processes, including QA automation where applicable.
- Govern internal deliverables and provide oversight for vendor or partner implementations.
- Create and maintain architecture diagrams, solution documentation, workflows, and training materials.
- Enforce data governance standards and ensure compliance with security, privacy, and regulatory requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (required).
- Demonstrated experience with Salesforce implementations within the Manufacturing industry, including at least one full lifecycle implementation of Sales Cloud or Service Cloud.
- 7–9+ years of Salesforce platform experience with deep product knowledge.
- 7+ years of hands‑on development experience (Flows, Apex, Lightning, SOQL, APIs, Java).
- 5+ years of Salesforce Administration experience across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Marketing Cloud, including expertise in object models, metadata, configurations, license management, user setup, and security (roles, profiles, OWD, permissions, sharing rules).
- Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I & II (Required).
- Salesforce Certified Application Architect or Technical Architect (Required).
- Salesforce Certified Service Cloud Consultant or Sales Cloud Consultant (Preferred).
- Strong release management experience with Salesforce DX, Git, Azure Dev Ops (VSTS), and Visual Studio Code.
