Overview
We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused MSP System Administrator to join our mission-driven team and support our growing Managed Security Service Provider initiative. In this role, you’ll be hands-on with proactive maintenance, deployments, and troubleshooting across a diverse client base, including organizations in the Defense Industrial Base (DIB) working toward CMMC compliance. This position blends technical depth with strong client-facing communication skills, making it ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced MSP environment.

Base pay range$70,000.00/yr - $80,000.00/yr
Responsibilities- Administer and maintain Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and Exchange environments, including accounts, permissions, and integrations.
- Configure, deploy, and support Windows and macOS workstations, servers, and mobile devices.
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and VPNs across client environments.
- Perform patch management, system updates, and preventative maintenance to ensure system stability and security.
- Monitor server and network health using RMM tools; troubleshoot and resolve Tier 2 infrastructure issues.
- Support onboarding/offboarding processes, including hardware provisioning and account setup.
- Document technical processes, changes, and resolutions in the PSA/ticketing system.
- Collaborate with senior engineers on projects, migrations, and security initiatives.
- 2+ years of experience in an MSP or multi-client IT environment.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and core networking (DNS, DHCP, VPN).
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 administration and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with RMM/PSA tools (e.g., Connect Wise, Autotask, Kaseya).
- Solid knowledge of virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V).
- Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
