About the Role:

We are hiring a Senior Product Marketing Manager to serve as the commercial translation layer between product reality and market truth.

This role exists to take complex, fast-moving product inputs and turn them into clear, buyer-ready, consumer-relevant stories that drive sell-in and sell-through. You are the person who ensures that what we build can actually be understood, positioned, and sold in the U.S. retail environment.

This is not a passive messaging role. You will challenge product decisions, pressure-test claims, and arm sales with narratives that win buyer confidence.

Core Mandate:
  • Turn product complexity into commercial clarity
  • Equip sales with messaging that closes, not confuses

  • Reduce friction between product teams, sales teams, and retail buyers
Key Responsibilities:

Narrative Ownership
  • Own the end-to-end product story: positioning, value propositions, and messaging hierarchy.
  • Ensure narratives are consistent across retail, DTC, packaging, and sales materials.
  • Translate features into outcomes that resonate with U.S. consumers and retail buyers.
  • Develop retail-ready assets including pitch decks, line reviews, one-pagers, sell sheets, and training materials.
  • Support key retail moments (e.g., Walmart, Target) with crisp, credible, buyer-aligned messaging.
  • Ensure sales teams can sell without needing constant ad hoc explanations.
Cross-Functional Translation
  • Act as the primary interface between U.S. GTM and product/engineering teams.
  • Provide data-backed pushback on unclear value propositions, over-claimed features, or weak differentiation.
  • Pressure-test product stories before they reach the market.
  • Lead competitive analysis and category mapping.
  • Clearly articulate where we win, where we don’t, and how to defend both.
  • Translate consumer insights into actionable positioning guidance.
  • Ensure materials are actually used by sales teams and understood by buyers.
  • Reduce confusion, rework, and last-minute scrambling ahead of retail reviews.
  • Continuously refine messaging based on buyer feedback and market response.
AI-Accelerated Output
  • Use AI tools to accelerate competitive research, messaging iteration, and asset development.
  • Improve speed and consistency without sacrificing rigor or credibility.
What Success Looks Like (First 6–12 Months)
  • Clear, repeatable product narratives used consistently across channels.
  • Sales teams confidently pitching without constant PMM intervention.
  • Improved buyer reception and reduced friction during retail reviews.
  • Faster launch readiness and fewer last-minute messaging changes.
  • A tighter feedback loop between market response and product direction.
Required Professional Profile Experience
  • 8+ years in Product Marketing with mandatory experience launching physical products
    .
  • Background in consumer electronics, wellness, or hardware-driven categories strongly preferred.
  • Experience supporting retail channels is a major plus.
Core Skillset
  • Strong competitive analysis and segmentation expertise.
  • Proven ability to build messaging hierarchies that scale across channels.
  • Comfort distilling complex technical inputs into simple, credible value stories.
Operating Mindset
  • Analytical, structured, and commercially minded.
  • Confident pushing back on product or leadership when the story doesn’t hold up.
  • Biased toward clarity, not fluff.
Communication
  • Exceptional written and verbal communicator.
  • Able to influence product teams, sales leaders, and retail buyers.
AI-Forward
  • Practical experience using AI to accelerate research, synthesis, and content creation.
  • Curious about tools that improve speed without diluting quality.
