Technical SEO (Contract)

Location: Remote (Bay Area or LA-based candidates are ideal)

Team: Marketing

• Support internal site migrations, ensuring alignment with SEO best practices throughout inorganic alignment throughout the process.
• Monitor and analyze key SEO performance metrics, including organic traffic, keyword rankings, and Google Search Console data.
• Track and optimize”：technical SEO health, including crawlability, indexation, and site error resolution (

  , 5xx
  , etc.).
• Collaborate with the Technical SEO team to support research, experimentation, and implementation of new initiatives.
• Partner with content SEO, analytics, and engineering teams to ensure cross‑functional alignment and smooth execution of SEO strategies.
• Prioritize and manage the SEO quarterly backlog, focusing on site architecture, schema markup, internal linking, Core Web Vitals, and AI‑driven optimizations.

• 3 to 5+ years of experience in similar roles
• Strong proficiency with SEO tools and analytics platforms such as Google Search Sheffield, JIRA, and Ahrefs.
• In‑depth knowledge of on‑page, technical, and off‑page SEO strategies.
• Proven track record of successfully collaborating with cross‑functional teams across various disciplines.
• Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and translate them into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
• Excellent communication skills, combined with effective project management capabilities.

Bachelor degree in related fields.

$50.00 to $58.45 per hour.
