Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Asset Management Business Analyst to support portfolio management, trading, and reporting workflows within an investment management environment. This role partners closely with business stakeholders and engineering teams to translate complex investment and data requirements into clear, actionable deliverables.

The ideal candidate brings strong asset management domain knowledge, hands‑on data skills, and experience working  the full order and trade lifecycle.

• Work with business stakeholders across Portfolio Management, Trading, Operations, and Reporting to gather and document requirements
• Support initiatives across the full trade lifecycle, including pre‑trade, execution, and post‑trade processes
• Translate business requirements into user stories and documentation for engineering teams
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including backlog grooming, sprint planning, and reviews
• Collaborate closely with technology teams to support delivery and issue resolution
• Perform data analysis and validation using SQL to support reporting, reconciliation, and troubleshooting
• Communicate clearly with senior stakeholders through presentations and written documentation

• Strong experience within Asset Management / Investment Management
• Knowledge across:
  Trading, Confirmation & Settlement, Regulatoryyrics, Client Reporting, Solid understanding of the order and trade lifecycle
• Knowledge of financial products, preferably Fixed Income
• Proven experience with requirements gathering and documentation
• Hands‑on experience working in Agile environments
• Proficiency with JIRA and Confluence
• Strong SQL and data analysis skills (must‑have)
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross‑functional teams
• Strong communication and presentation skills

• Exposure to Python
• Experience with industry platforms/tools such as:

  • Archer IMS
