Job Description
Insight Global is looking for an IT Controls Testing Specialist to join their team in support of a leading financial customer in the United States. This IT Controls Testing Specialist will be responsible for executing the IT Controls Testing across all in scope frameworks and regulatory requirements, including but not limited to: NIST, CIS, GLBA, PCI, and more. You will be the first line of defense supporting the Risk and Control Self-Assessment Program.
You will assess a variety of IT Controls, mitigate risks and ensure compliance across the organization, and seek to continuously improve these controls daily. You will report to the Director of GRC, and work collaboratively with a group of Controls Testing Specialists. This is a fully remote role, working US Central Standard Time Zone.

- Execute IT Control Testing across in‑scope framework and regulatory requirements such as NIST, CIS, GLBA, and PCI within the first line of defense supporting the Risk and Control Self‑Assessment Program.
- Perform testing procedures, including walkthroughs, inspection, and re‑performance of controls, to assess control effectiveness.
- Develop test plans and test scripts that align with regulatory and industry standards.
- Identify control deficiencies, non‑compliance, and areas for improvement.
- Document testing results clearly and concisely, providing updates on progress with relevant evidence.
- Track the remediation of control deficiencies and ensure plans are supported.
- Work closely with control owners to ensure an understanding of control design and testing methodology. Coordinate with IT, Info Sec, and Risk Management teams to align on control testing priorities.
- Add data analytics skills to support control testing. Must have MS Excel (advanced functions) and Power BI skills for data analytics.
