Salary Range: $140,000 – $186,000

Job DescriptionThe Senior Technical Program Manager / IT Legal Tech Lead is an Individual Contributor role within the IT organization, supporting the Legal department. This role drives complex cross-functional technology initiatives, leads legal tech strategy, and ensures successful adoption of tools that modernize legal operations.
Technical Program Management Excellence- Lead cross-functional programs spanning Legal, IT, and Information Security.
- Define scope, success metrics, and program roadmaps; oversee end-to-end execution.
- Manage vendor partnerships and influence product roadmaps to meet organizational needs.
- Facilitate requirements, prioritization, and delivery planning with senior stakeholders.
- Serve as the in-house expert on legal technologies, including CLM, document automation, and AI-powered tools.
- Partner with infrastructure, development, and QA teams to plan releases and upgrades.
- Monitor legal tech industry trends and vendor roadmaps to guide strategic planning.
- Provide L2/L3 support, including onboarding, user provisioning, and workflow troubleshooting.
- Deliver live demos, training sessions, and onboarding materials for new technologies.
- Develop user guides, documentation, and training resources.
- Drive new tech adoption through targeted communication and engagement strategies.
- Identify process improvement, automation, and innovation opportunities within legal operations.
- Monitor usage, performance metrics, and satisfaction to guide optimization.
- Lead both tactical and strategic change management initiatives across the organization.
Required:
- 8+ years in legal business consulting, legal technology innovation, or legal managed services.
- Proven technical program management experience supporting large-scale legal operations.
- Deep knowledge of legal systems (CLM, e-discovery, compliance, etc.).
- Expertise in legal industry processes (regulatory compliance, IP management, M&A, data privacy).
- IT systems administration and L2/L3 support experience.
- Information security familiarity and organizational change management experience.
- Vendor management and coordination skills.
Education: Bachelor’s degree required; JD, MBA, or Master's preferred.
