Summary

The Senior Manager - AI & Automation position is responsible for driving digital transformation initiatives by identifying, designing, and deploying AI, machine learning, and automation solutions that improve operational efficiency, reduce cost, and strengthen service competitiveness across logistics and business operations. This role provides both strategic direction and hands‑on technical leadership to ensure scalable, secure, and high‑value automation outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Strategy & Leadership
    • Establish the roadmap for AI and automation aligned with corporate goals
    • Lead prioritization and execution of transformation initiatives (ML ETA, RPA, Intelligent Ops)
    • Manage project governance, delivery milestones, risk and change management
  • Technical Execution
    • Design, architect, and implement AI/ML models and automation workflows
    • Develop scalable pipelines for data ingestion, training, validation, and deployment
    • Ensure interoperability with legacy enterprise systems
  • Data Governance & Quality
    • Collaborate with business SMEs to define data requirements and improve data integrity
    • Establish metrics and monitoring dashboards to measure automation outcomes
  • Team Management
    • Lead a team of Machine Learning Engineers / Automation Developers
    • Develop team capabilities through mentoring, training, and recruitment
  • Major Tasks
    • Reduction in manual workload and operational errors through automation
    • Accuracy improvement in predictive analytics (e.g., ETA)
    • Contribution to revenue opportunities via digital capability enhancement
    • Adoption of automation solutions across business units
  • Primary advisor to leadership on emerging technologies
    • Manage cloud‑based AI services (AWS, Azure) and model lifecycle (MLOps)
    • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement
    • Ensure compliance with security and privacy policies (PII, corporate guidelines)
    • SLA improvements for system performance and user experience
Compensation

$124,000 - $133,000 per year (Subject to Compensation Study Upon Candidate Selection)

Skills
  • 3+ years leading AI/ML/Automation or digital transformation initiatives Required
  • Experience in logistics, supply chain, automotive, or manufacturing industry Preferred
  • Understanding of MLOps, containerization, and microservices architecture Preferred
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Required
  • Proven track record of deploying data‑driven solutions into production Required
Education & Experience
  • Bachelors Degree Required
    • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or Related Field Required
  • Master's Degree Preferred
  • 10+ Years of Direct Experience in Information Technology Required
  • 8+ Years of IT or Software Development Experience Required
