Principal Cloud Engineer

** and play a key role in shaping innovative, secure, and scalable cloud solutions. In this role, you’ll work with leading platforms like
** Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and AWS
** designing and deploying infrastructure that powers mission-critical applications.
* Design, develop, and deploy cloud infrastructure using platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP), AWS, or Azure.
* Implement and manage cloud-based applications and services.
* Automate infrastructure and deployment using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Cloud Formation.
* Monitor system performance and reliability; identify and resolve technical issues.
* Ensure security best practices are followed and assist with compliance requirements.
* Work with Dev Ops teams to implement CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Github, Jenkins, Artifactory, or related.
* Optimize cloud costs through analysis and scaling strategies.
* Provide support for cloud-based environments, including on-call support as needed.
* Knowledge of project management and technical analysis using tools like jira, confluence, spreadsheets
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
* 4+ years of experience in cloud engineering or related roles.
* Strong knowledge of at least one major cloud provider (GCP, AWS, or Azure).
* Experience with cloud automation and infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, Cloud Formation).
* Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
* Experience with scripting languages like Python, Bash, or Power Shell.
* Understanding of networking, firewalls, DNS, and load balancing in a cloud context.
* Knowledge of cloud security best practices and tools.
