Senior Technical Program Manager
seeks a Senior Technical Program Manager to work from our Irvine, CA office (onsite). In this role you will lead, coordinate, and successfully deliver multiple strategic initiatives spanning business process improvements and technology development. The ideal candidate brings strong process‑improvement expertise and broad technical knowledge across diverse applications and platforms, and oversees all projects within a given program, ensuring the timely delivery of high‑quality, shippable products that drive organizational success.
Responsibilities- Drive the delivery of strategic programs.
- Demonstrate strong leadership, structure, teamwork and critical thinking to organize successful delivery of multiple projects under a strategic program.
- Apply best‑fit methodology for program execution (Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall, etc.) to unlock productivity, quality, and innovation.
- Facilitate release‑planning exercise for the program with cross‑functional teams that may include members from product, engineering, operations, marketing, and business development.
- Manage & communicate program resource needs, status and critical path, risks, issues and dependencies upstream / downstream to ensure value‑based delivery and results. Deliver messages that are clear and concise.
- Build and develop strong working relationships with stakeholders and senior‑management leaders for the overall success of the program.
- Assist in cost‑benefit analysis preparation, resource planning, sequencing, initiative planning and delivery.
- Work with cross‑functional teams to establish and manage realistic and committed program schedules, taking into consideration deadlines, dependencies, resources, and costs when making changes and decisions to schedule.
- Identify and analyze organizational impacts for internal stakeholders and partner with Change Management team to develop and orchestrate strategies, milestones, and deliverables.
- Maintain SharePoint site for the program to drive cross‑functional alignment and transparency into the initiative.
- 5+ years in technology project leadership experience with a focus on cross‑functional process improvements and related tools implementations.
- Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss business and technical concepts, manage tradeoffs, and highlight risks appropriately.
- Ability to partner with technical, operational, business, and other cross‑functional stakeholders across the company and ensure buy‑in from key stakeholders.
- Experience driving projects through entire SDLC, creating schedules, managing expectations and risks.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Effective in communicating across all levels of the organization from developers to executive management to partner clients.
- Bachelor’s Degree in business management information systems or related technical field.
- Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) – required.
- Certified Scrum Master – strong plus.
- MS Project, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint proficiency.
- SharePoint proficiency.
- JIRA and Confluence – strong plus.
