Summary

Performance Management is seeking a data‑driven, detail‑oriented analyst to support operational intelligence across vehicle logistics, port operations, and affiliated networks. The ideal candidate will build interactive dashboards, analyse complex datasets, and write SQL queries to uncover trends, inefficiencies, and process improvement opportunities. Proficiency in Python and a solid grasp of machine learning fundamentals, particularly regression analysis and basic predictive modelling, are essential.

Key responsibilities include automating reports, enhancing self‑service BI tools, and contributing to performance reviews that inform strategic decisions. Success in this role requires strong collaboration with cross‑functional teams to ensure insights are aligned with operational objectives. Candidates should hold a quantitative degree and have up to two years of relevant experience, including academic or internship work in analytics or logistics.

A collaborative mindset and openness to feedback are equally important, especially when planning and designing data‑driven solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards using Power BI (or equivalent tools) to monitor KPIs related to vehicle throughput, port operations, and logistics performance
  • Write, optimise, and manage SQL queries to extract, clean, and structure data from multiple systems for analysis and reporting purposes
  • Perform comparative and trend analyses across time periods, ports, affiliates, and other operational variables to identify performance gaps, anomalies, or areas of opportunity
  • Leverage Jupyter Notebooks to perform exploratory data analysis (EDA), visualise data relationships, prototype models, and communicate code‑driven insights clearly
  • Conduct root cause analyses on operational inefficiencies, including delays, congestion, and cycle‑time deviations in vehicle movement and port handling workflows
  • Build and refine basic predictive models (e.g., regression, classification) using Python to support operational forecasting and risk identification
  • Automate recurring reporting tasks and develop self‑service BI tools to improve accessibility and reduce manual effort across departments
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders to define meaningful performance metrics and ensure that reporting aligns with strategic and operational goals
  • Translate data findings into clear narratives and recommendations for both technical and non‑technical audiences through presentations and visualisations
  • Document reporting logic, data definitions, model assumptions, and analysis workflows to ensure consistency, reproducibility, and knowledge sharing
  • Apply data visualisation best practices to maximise the clarity, usability, and impact of analytics deliverables
  • Utilise version control (e.g., Git) within notebooks or analytics projects to maintain code integrity and support collaboration
  • Proactively identify and recommend data quality improvements, tool enhancements, or metric refinements that could strengthen analytical outputs
  • Demonstrate flexibility and a proactive attitude toward taking on additional responsibilities that align with the scope and objectives of the role
  • Participate in cross‑functional planning discussions, contributing analytical insights during the development of new initiatives or process improvements
  • Prepare data‑driven…
