The Analyst, Legal Systems plays a critical role in supporting the Legal Department’s operational efficiency through the management and optimization of legal technology platforms. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Legal Systems, this role collaborates with attorneys, paralegals, internal clients, and external vendors to ensure seamless legal workflows, data integrity, and compliance with internal and external requirements. The Analyst is responsible for maintaining technology platforms utilized by the legal department, including the underlying data sources and technical requirements of the Contract Lifecycle Management (“CLM”) platform to ensure optimal functionality and efficiency for Legal users including, but not limited to optimizing how Legal team contract management processes and data for critical workflows.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on legal systems and workflows, including Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) platforms, and provide training and support to legal team members.
  • Maintain and enhance legal technology platforms (e.g., Alteryx, Docu Sign, Salesforce, Smartsheet) to support contract drafting, execution, and data management.
  • Under the direction of the Senior Manager, Legal Systems,
  • Troubleshoot, test, and support legal applications and platforms, ensuring optimal functionality and user experience.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to support legal and organizational projects, including dynamic reporting, system evaluations, and process improvements.
  • Under the guidance of the Senior Manager, Legal Systems, coordinate with organization’s subject matter experts to understand and acquire approvals as the legal department’s or other attendant systems may impact other departments.
  • Develop and maintain documentation such as SOPs, user guides, and training materials for legal systems.
  • Organize incoming requests and determine use cases to identify, recommend and manage business processes for the Legal Department.
  • Analyze legal data and workflows to identify trends, recommend best practices, and support data-driven decision-making.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
  • Other duties as assigned by Senior Manager, Legal Systems and management.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Legal, Contract Management, Information Technology or related fields. In lieu of degree 2+Years of experience with contract administration with commercial and corporate contracts utilizing contract management technology. At least 1 year of experience in a corporate legal environment (in-house preferred).
  • Proficiency with legal systems such as Alteryx, Box, Smartsheet, Salesforce, and Docu Sign CLM or similar platforms.
  • This position is onsite at the Irvine support office.
Preferred
  • Master’s Degree or Professional Certification in Contract and/or Project Management.
  • Experience with managing all types of contracts relating to corporate transactions, employment, and procurement.
  • Familiarity with Alteryx, Box, Smartsheet, Mulesoft, and/or Litera is a plus.
  • Experience in team leadership and project management.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
  • Legal Research & Analysis:
    Ability to interpret and apply laws, regulations, and policies; skilled in conducting legal research using platforms such as Westlaw or Lexis Nexis.
  • Detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and capable of managing multiple priorities with sound judgment and minimal supervision.
  • Strong legal research and writing skills, with the ability to interpret and apply laws, regulations, and policies.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
  • Problem Solving & Critical Thinking:
    Demonstrated ability to analyze complex issues, apply sound judgment, and propose practical solutions under tight deadlines.
  • Project & Workflow Management:
    Proven ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment without compromising quality.
  • Technical Proficiency:
