About the RoleI’m partnering with a leading client in the construction services industry that is looking to bring on a sharp, people‑focused HR Coordinator to support their growing team in Irvine. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong administrative experience who is ready to step into HR or continue growing within it while working in a high‑impact, fast‑paced environment.
In this role, you’ll support day‑to‑day HR operations, onboarding, and employee support for a large field workforce. You’ll work onsite and closely with the HR Manager and Senior HR Coordinator to keep processes moving smoothly and ensure new hires have a great experience from day one.
This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a structured environment, enjoys interacting with employees from various backgrounds, and isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves when things get busy.
Key Responsibilities- Manage onboarding processes, including scheduling, document collection, and I‑9 verification.
- Support employee data entry and updates in HR systems.
- Assist with payroll adjustments and employee changes.
- Communicate with field employees and provide HR support as needed.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with internal procedures.
- Collaborate with HR leadership on daily operational tasks.
- Strong administrative background – HR experience is a plus but not required.
- Fast‑paced performer – comfortable handling high‑volume workflows.
- Detail‑oriented and organized – especially when managing onboarding and compliance tasks.
- Personable yet resilient – able to work well with construction field teams; thick skin helps.
- Tech‑savvy – familiarity with UKG is great;
Workday experience is a bonus. - Bilingual Spanish is a strong plus.
