HR Manager / CFO
- Payroll Processing Surrounding tasks:
Manage end-to-end payroll processing for 2,000 hourly employees across multiple states and countries.
- Ensure accuracy of timekeeping records and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Calculate and process deductions including taxes, benefits, and garnishments.
- Compliance & Accuracy Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and wage regulations.
- Ensure accurate tax reporting and timely submission of filings.
- Stay current with payroll legislation and implement necessary changes.
- Systems & Reporting Utilize ADP Workforce to process payroll efficiently and accurately.
- Generate and analyze payroll reports for management and audit use.
- Troubleshoot system issues and coordinate solutions with IT or payroll vendors.
- Employee Support Serve as the point of contact for payroll-related inquiries.
- Provide guidance on timekeeping, pay policies, and payroll procedures.
- Process Improvement Identify and implement process enhancements to improve accuracy and efficiency.
- Collaborate with HR and Finance to ensure smooth data integration and reporting consistency.
- Minimum 8-10 years of payroll processing experience in a multi-state environment (preferably with CA, WA, OR, and/or NY).
- Experience in entertainment, retail, restaurant, or related industries with multi locations.
- Proven experience processing 1,500+ hourly employees bi-weekly (2,000 in current role).
- Strong proficiency with ADP Workforce.
- In-depth knowledge of payroll regulations, tax laws, and compliance.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required.
- CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) designation preferred but not required.
