Responsibilities
  • Payroll Processing Surrounding tasks:
    Manage end-to-end payroll processing for 2,000 hourly employees across multiple states and countries.
  • Ensure accuracy of timekeeping records and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Calculate and process deductions including taxes, benefits, and garnishments.
  • Compliance & Accuracy Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and wage regulations.
  • Ensure accurate tax reporting and timely submission of filings.
  • Stay current with payroll legislation and implement necessary changes.
  • Systems & Reporting Utilize ADP Workforce to process payroll efficiently and accurately.
  • Generate and analyze payroll reports for management and audit use.
  • Troubleshoot system issues and coordinate solutions with IT or payroll vendors.
  • Employee Support Serve as the point of contact for payroll-related inquiries.
  • Provide guidance on timekeeping, pay policies, and payroll procedures.
  • Process Improvement Identify and implement process enhancements to improve accuracy and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with HR and Finance to ensure smooth data integration and reporting consistency.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 8-10 years of payroll processing experience in a multi-state environment (preferably with CA, WA, OR, and/or NY).
  • Experience in entertainment, retail, restaurant, or related industries with multi locations.
  • Proven experience processing 1,500+ hourly employees bi-weekly (2,000 in current role).
  • Strong proficiency with ADP Workforce.
  • In-depth knowledge of payroll regulations, tax laws, and compliance.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required.
  • CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) designation preferred but not required.
