Payroll Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end payroll processing for 2,000+ hourly employees across multiple states.
• Ensure accuracy of timekeeping records, including reviewing and resolving discrepancies.
• Calculate and process deductions, such as taxes, benefits, and garnishments.

• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws, including wage and hour regulations.
• Ensure accurate tax reporting and timely submission of tax filings.
• Stay up to date with changes in payroll legislation and implement updates as needed.

• Utilize payroll software, ADP Workforce, to process payroll efficiently and accurately.
• Generate and analyze payroll reports for management and audit purposes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system-related issues in coordination with the IT department or payroll vendor.

• Act as the point of contact for payroll-related inquiries, ensuring timely resolution of employee concerns.
• Provide guidance to managers and employees on timekeeping policies and procedures.

• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance payroll efficiency and accuracy.
• Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure seamless integration of payroll data.

• Minimum of 8 years of payroll processing experience in a multi-state, retail, or restaurant environment.
• Proficiency with ADP Workforce.
• Strong knowledge of payroll regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements.
• Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required.
• Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation preferred but not required.
