Nuclear Medicine Technologists – Orange County, CA
Rate: $3,500/week
13-week contracts | Multiple openings

Locations & openings

• Irvine – 2 openings
  Nuclear Medicine only (no PET). Single-camera department. Mix of outpatient and inpatient.
  
  Schedule:
  
  Monday–Friday, 8:00–4:30 or 9:00–5:30
• Costa Mesa – 1 opening
  PET scans only
• Orange – 2 openings
  Mix of Nuclear Medicine and PET

Candidates will be assigned to one location for the full 13-week assignment. No rotation during the first contract.
All shifts are Monday–Friday with start times between 7:00 AM and 11:00 AM.
No on-call required.

Requirements

• BLS
• ARRT or CNMT certification
• Experience with at least one system: GE, Hitachi, Philips, Siemens, or Toshiba
• Experience with:
  • Storage, handling, and disposal of radioactive materials
  • IV starts
  • HIDA scans
  • Cardiac stress testing
  • Lung, bone, and thyroid scans
  • Uptake studies
• Computerized documentation
• Isolation precautions
• Minimum 1 year Nuclear Medicine experience

Facility notes:
High-volume departments with a strong academic environment. Sites support clinical trials and a wide range of nuclear medicine procedures, working with approximately 50 radiopharmaceuticals. Prior academic or high-volume experience is preferred. Candidates must be able to work independently and hit the ground running.
