Stella Mental Health is a leading provider of breakthrough mental health treatments for depression, PTSD, and anxiety. We use cutting-edge modalities, such as ketamine infusions, intranasal esketamine (Spravato), transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS), and Stellate Ganglion Block (SGB) to help our patients achieve lasting relief. We are seeking an experienced, communicative, and compassionate Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join our Irvine Clinic. You must have a minimum of 2 years of experience practicing as a licensed PA in a psychiatric or behavioral health setting.

• Conduct patient visits per accepted practice standards
• Obtain patient histories and perform psychiatric evaluations
• Develop and implement treatment plans in accordance with clinical practice guidelines and protocols
• Build and manage a panel of patients for whom you are the primary psycho pharmacologist
• Monitor the effectiveness of therapeutic intervention, assess, and manage patient follow up care
• Maintain the confidentiality of PHI
• Assumes responsibility and accountability for time management, professional relationships, and interpersonal interactions within the job setting
• Maintains continuing educational requirements necessary for licensure and certifications
• Provides appropriate and timely documentation of clinical care ensuring that records are detailed, complete, and comply with related standards and regulations
• This is a full-time in clinic role, Monday through Friday – no weekends.

• Current Physician Assistant (PA) License in the State of California - minimum of 2 years of experience
• Minimum 2 years of experience with medication management
• TMS and Ketamine experience
• Strong IV skills
• Possesses a State Controlled Substance License II through V
• Possesses a Federal DEA Certificate II through V
• BLS Certification for Healthcare Providers
• Ability to collaborate and communicate with members of an interdisciplinary care team
• Effective problem-solving and prioritization skills
• Previous experience in a clinical setting
• Must be able to pass an extensive background check including all educational requirements and licensing
