Job SummaryThe Regulatory Affairs Specialist will provide support to the Director of Regulatory Affairs in relation to the Company’s regulatory compliance efforts.
Responsibilities- Assist in managing regulatory affairs matters for the company
- Support registration/regulatory needs to maintain and develop the regulatory capability of the Company
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for Company’s products
- Prepare and submit regulatory documents, review labels and other materials for compliance
- Update internal SOPs / forms / work instructions and assist with internal training of associates on regulatory and internal processes
- Keep abreast of evolving regulations to support product development and commercialization
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure regulatory compliance
- Assist in preparing and submitting regulatory documents (product registration dossiers, technical files, labeling, and packing information) in accordance with applicable regulations
- Provide administrative support with the compilation and maintenance of product regulatory files, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Support regulatory assessments of product formulas, claims evidence, packaging, and labeling to ensure compliance with local and international regulations
- Assign and evaluate ingredient and formula evaluations
- Assist in developing regulatory guidance documents for cross‑functional teams
- Perform other related duties as required and assigned
Skills and Abilities
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements in relation to product compliance
- Great collaborator and team player
- Effective research and analytical skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently on projects, meet aggressive deadlines, and juggle multiple priorities simultaneously
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience with Google Workspace (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Forms) preferred
Generally requires a minimum of seven (7) years of proven experience in regulatory affairs or related roles within the food/dietary supplement and/or cosmetic industry, with in‑depth knowledge of FDA and FTC regulations relating to claims, labeling, and ingredient acceptability.
Education RequirementsBachelor’s Degree in a science field (Food Science, Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or equivalent). Preferred, or a combination of education and equivalent work experience.
Pay & BenefitsThe anticipated pay scale for this position can be found below, however the pay range applicable to you may vary by geographic location based on where the job is located or where you work. The final pay offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of experience within the job, the type of years and experience within the industry, education, etc.
