This position requires flexibility to accommodate varying patient needs. Shifts may include days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. On-call responsibilities and mandatory overtime may also be necessary.
Responsibilities- Perform CT scan procedures, obtain patient history, explain routine procedures, and address patient concerns
- Assist the radiologist, surgeon, and/or clinician during CT procedures, including invasive and non-invasive studies
- Prepare contrast media and contrast injector; execute injection protocol and monitor injection
- Prepare the patient, explain the procedure, and ensure patient cooperation during the examination
- Contribute to Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) activities to enhance imaging services
- Post High School Vocational/Specialized Training in Radiologic Technology or equivalent. Experience may substitute for minimum education requirements
- At least 1 year hospital or imaging center experience
- AMA approved school of Diagnostic Radiologic Technology
- ARRT (Radiography)
- CRT (Radiography)
- Successful completion of CT orientation
- CPR
