We are seeking a passionate and skilled Radiation Therapist II to join our dedicated oncology team. Under the guidance of our Radiation Oncologists, you will deliver precision radiation therapy using the most advanced technology available, including the Varian True Beam and Ethos Linac with advanced treatment techniques such as IMRT, SRS, SBRT, Adaptive Therapy, Surface Guidance, Hyper Arc, Spotlighting, Triggered Imaging, and a 6‑DOF couch.
Our department also features an MRI Linac, View Ray MRIdian, and a comprehensive suite of equipment, including the Siemens GoPro CT Simulator and HDR Brachytherapy machine. - Deliver a prescribed and planned course of radiation therapy to patients of all ages.
- Operate the MRI control console for each patient’s scan, selecting proper imaging techniques and operating various peripheral hardware.
- Reinforce recommendations given to patients by healthcare professionals concerning reactions to treatment and care of the radiated area, including prevention or treatment of generalized and localized side effects.
- Perform simulation procedures as prescribed by physician and assist in dosimetry procedures.
- Perform diagnostic testing on equipment, general maintenance, and quality assurance as appropriate.
- Experience with Aria is highly preferred.
- High School or equivalent;
Post‑High School Vocational/Specialized Training in an accredited Radiation Therapy Education Program. - 3 years of radiation therapy experience with demonstrated strong technical leadership skills.
- Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology course plus a radiation therapy course, or
- Graduate of an accredited Bachelor of Science in Radiation Therapy Program.
- Licensed by the California State Department of Health (Certified in Radiation Therapy).
- Certification by the ARRT – in Radiation Therapy CRT.
- BLS or CPR certification.
