CV Resources has partnered with an outstanding company in Irvine, CA seeking a contract/ temp to hire Accounting Manager/ Assistant Controller to join their team.

Hybrid in Irvine, CA up to $70 per hour

• Oversee day-to-day accounting functions including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, general ledger, and month-end close
• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, reconciliations, and internal management reports
• Maintain and strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, and compliance standards
• Manage relationships with banks, payroll providers, auditors, and accounting software vendors
• Support process improvement and system enhancement initiatives

• Collaborate with executive leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial strategy
• Lead audit readiness, external financial reviews, and ensure regulatory and tax compliance
• Assess, recommend, and implement systems or tools to improve financial scalability and visibility
• Contribute to strategic projects, including financial modeling, scenario planning, and due diligence
• Provide actionable financial insights to support pricing, investment decisions, and growth initiatives

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership roles
• Strong understanding of GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting
• Experience with accounting systems (e.g., Net Suite, Sage) and Excel/financial modeling
• Excellent communication, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills
