Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee the preparation and timely filing of all SEC reports, including Forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, and Proxy statements.
- Ensure GAAP compliance for product costs, inventory, and warranty accounting, including maintaining all related reserves.
- Coordinate the annual audit and quarterly reviews with external auditors, including preparing audit schedules and technical memos.
- Prepare monthly financial statements and assist with the distribution of the Annual Report.
- Support the CFO with ad hoc projects, special reporting, and financial analysis as needed.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of GAAP, FASB pronouncements, and SOX 404 compliance.
- Utilize integrated accounting software, report writers, and the Microsoft Office Suite proficiently.
- Communicate effectively and lead with professionalism, accountability, and motivation.
- Accept new challenges with enthusiasm and maintain a calm, mature demeanor.
- Collaborate across departments and contribute to a high-performing finance team.
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting from an accredited institution.
- Maintain an active CPA license.
- 5+ years of experience at a national CPA firm, preferably Big 4.
- 3+ years of direct SEC reporting experience.
- Leverage experience with MAS 200/500 or similar ERP systems to support reporting functions.
