We are seeking an experienced and strategic Consulting CFO to join the Integra Consulting team. The Consulting CFO will oversee high-level financial strategy, lead client finance departments, build budgets and forecasts, guide long‑term financial planning, and provide executive‑level advisory to clients scaling, restructuring, or preparing for investment.
This role is ideal for a seasoned finance executive with deep experience in multi‑entity financial oversight, systems implementation, forecasting, capital structure advisory, and cross‑functional leadership. The Consulting CFO will act as the primary financial strategist for clients while supporting and mentoring Integra’s internal team.
Salary Range: $120,000 - $135,000
RequirementsKey Responsibilities
- Executive Financial Leadership & Strategy
- Serve as the senior financial advisor to CEOs, founders, boards, and investors.
- Lead long‑term financial planning, annual budgeting cycles, and multi‑year forecasting.
- Develop financial models, scenario planning, and dashboards that support decision‑making.
- Guide clients through entity formation, restructuring, mergers, and large‑scale expansions.
- Oversee cash‑flow management, capitalization strategies, and financial risk mitigation.
- Translate complex financial results into clear, actionable insights for leadership and stakeholders.
- Client Advisory & Operational Oversight
- Oversee multi‑client financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment with strategic goals.
- Review and approve monthly close packages, KPI reporting, and financial statements prepared by Controllers/Managers.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax requirements, industry regulations, and internal controls.
- Design and implement financial frameworks, accounting policies, and reporting structures for clients.
- Team Leadership & Talent Development
- Direct and mentor Controllers, Accounting Managers, and Staff across client engagements.
- Establish performance expectations, review workflows, and ensure consistent quality across the team.
- Manage capacity planning, utilization, and resource allocation in alignment with client budgets and scopes.
- Promote a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Systems, Processes & Implementation Oversight
- Lead financial systems conversions (Quick Books to QBO, Net Suite, ERP upgrades).
- Implement scalable processes and SOPs to support client growth.
- Evaluate internal control systems and recommend improvements.
- Oversee creation of process documentation, training decks, and best‑practice guides.
- Strategic Collaboration & Cross‑Functional Partnership
- Partner with Tax Managers, Audit teams, and external advisors on complex financial matters.
- Support clients in board presentations, investor relations, fundraising, and due diligence prep.
- Provide executive‑level support on special projects such as proformas, operational restructures, and cost‑reduction initiatives.
- Act as liaison between finance, operations, HR, IT, and leadership to align strategies and execute plans.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA, CMA, or MBA strongly preferred.
- 5–10+ years progressive experience in finance and accounting, including senior‑level leadership.
- Prior CFO, VP Finance, Director of Finance, or Consulting CFO experience required.
- Demonstrated expertise with budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, capital planning, and KPI development.
- Proven track record overseeing multi‑client engagements or multi‑entity environments.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and executive communication skills.
- Proficiency with Quick Books, QBO, Net Suite, and Microsoft Office Suite (advanced Excel expected).
- Ability to manage competing priorities and lead teams in fast‑paced consulting environments.
- Strong strategic thinking, problem‑solving abilities, and ability to simplify financial complexity.
- Experience presenting to boards, investors, and executive leadership.
