Job Description:
- Review individual tax returns, estimated tax filings, extension calculations, and related filings, including various state tax returns.
- Provide year-round consulting and advisory services to owner doctors and executives, focusing on compliance and direct communication.
- Conduct tax research and manage complex projects.
- Manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively, adhering to strict deadlines.
- Oversee special tax projects and work performed by outside tax service providers.
- Perform HR-related functions, including recruitment, performance reviews, disciplinary actions, compensation administration, and staff development.
- Broad-based tax technical skills.
- Flexibility in adapting processes to meet unique needs.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, CCH, Lexis, etc.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to foster employee development through supportive learning.
- Bachelor's Degree in Tax or Accounting
- 8+ years of individual tax compliance and consulting experience.
- CPA, JD, or EA license.
- Experience managing a team of tax professionals.
- Medical, dental, and vision insurance.
