POSITION SUMMARY
Bandai Namco Entertainment America’s Associate Producer, Group Titles (Contractor) will support the creation and validation of master schedules for worldwide, multi‑platform releases, track asset delivery deadlines, and work with teams to ensure content is released on schedule and to the expected level of quality. The role involves staying up to date with industry trends and competitive products, facilitating user research testing with internal and external teams, and reviewing and submitting ratings packets for North American and LATAM ratings.
This is a 12‑month contract. The position is based in Irvine, California, with a hybrid work schedule and a minimum of three days in‑office each week.
- Accountable for production matters such as providing support on voiceover recordings, producing, and implementing process improvements.
- Experience products firsthand to gain a thorough understanding and evaluate and identify needs accordingly.
- Contribute to creating, maintaining, and communicating product release schedules.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on matters such as communicating quality parameters, providing new business suggestions, supporting teams on gameplay feedback for upcoming titles, and coordinating with licensors on required specifications.
- Assist with maintaining project lifecycle management, which includes product setup and archiving, projecting postmortems, performing milestone reviews, and analyzing project risks and identifying solutions.
- Support and approve age rating submission packets (such as ESRB and DJCTQ) and create and route revenue recognition packets for approval.
- Keep a pulse on industry trends and emerging game software technologies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher, or equivalent work experience.
- 1+ years of relevant industry experience and/or project management experience.
- Prior experience producing successful console games, and/or extensive knowledge of current and next‑gen consoles and PC.
- Familiarity with production, QA, ratings, and release processes.
- Ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks, adapting to changing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including handling difficult situations and collaborating on negotiations and solutions.
- Ability to support multiple worldwide project releases and work under flexible schedules to accommodate worldwide time frames.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- An avid fan of video games, manga, and anime entertainment.
The role requires frequent periods of sitting and computer tasks, occasional standing or walking, and infrequent lifting or carrying of more than ten pounds. Travel is required. Reasonable accommodations can be made for individuals with disabilities.
SALARY RANGE$32.17 to $40.87 per hour, plus other compensation components. Actual salary will be based on qualifications, experience, location, and other factors.
