The BMW Genius greets and assists guests in a showroom setting, providing expert knowledge of BMW products and ensuring a positive customer experience.

  • Promptly and courteously greet guests in the showroom, behaving as a host and answering any questions the guest may have.
  • Recognize the point at which your informative role ends and the sales consultant begins.
  • Possess in-depth, expert knowledge of the brand and products to answer any questions regarding the vehicle being delivered.
  • Identify guests’ needs.
  • Provide thorough product demonstration and explanation of key technology features at the guest’s request.
  • Follow-up with guests to answer product questions.
  • Troubleshoot feature-function questions on the service drive.
  • Pair and/or sync phones and explain features on vehicle loaners.
  • Present DIY resources.
  • Provide in-store sales staff training.
  • Be present during all guest clinics.
  • Assist CIC/BDC with guest questions.
  • Maintain product knowledge through dealer training and self-study.
  • Follow-up sale to determine guest satisfaction and re‑enforce the sales experience.
  • Maintain a professional and business‑like standard of dress consistent with dealership dress code.
  • Know and follow the work schedule, arriving on time.
  • Maintain work areas, keeping offices clean and organized at all times.
  • Introduce guests to the Service and Parts Department and Service Advisor when possible.
  • Safeguard customer and dealer information per established policy.
  • Comply with all safety rules and use appropriate safety and personal protection equipment as required.
  • Adhere to the work schedule and be at your workstation productively engaged by the scheduled time.
  • Maintain accurate attendance records (clocking in and out).
  • Exemplify organizational culture and hold others in the department accountable for doing the same.
  • Other related duties as may be assigned.
