Job Description & How to Apply Below

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Digital Signal Processing (DSP) Systems Engineer to join our team, specializing in communication systems and radar technologies.

In this role, you will develop, optimize, and maintain signal processing systems and algorithms for radar/RF sensors, communications, and joint communications and RF sensing (JCS). You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of engineers to design and implement digital signal processing solutions for various applications, including digital communications, radar, sensor fusion, and other projects as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement advanced Digital Signal Processing algorithms for RF sensing, radars, and communication systems.
  • Analyze system performance, including signal quality, data throughput, and latency, to optimize DSP algorithms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate DSP solutions into radar, RF sensing, and communication systems.
  • Work on radar waveform generation, detection algorithms, target tracking, and signal processing in real-time.
  • Develop simulation models to test DSP algorithms and system performance before deployment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to DSP systems.
  • Ensure DSP algorithms meet system requirements and performance standards.
  • Stay current with advancements in DSP, RF sensing, radar technology, and communications systems.
  • Document design specifications, test results, and development processes.

Required Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience.
  • Proven experience in DSP algorithm design and implementation, especially in radar and communications systems.
  • Strong proficiency in signal processing techniques, including filtering, modulation, demodulation, FFT, and time-frequency analysis.
  • Experience with radar signal processing, target detection, and tracking algorithms.
  • Familiarity with communication system design, including OFDM, MIMO, and spread spectrum techniques.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Python, MATLAB, or similar.
  • Experience with simulation and modeling tools (e.g., MATLAB, Simulink, GNU Radio).
  • Understanding of hardware/software integration and real-time DSP implementation.
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
