- Conceive and lead innovative routes in strategic new product development platforms
- Employ sound experimental designs to effectively develop new materials for electronic applications
- Design, develop, execute and support on-time commercialization of new adhesive formulations and products
- Prepare and deliver presentations on research projects for internal teams, management, customers and technical conferences
- Effectively work in cross functional teams across different time zones with members from product development, project management, application engineering, process engineering, marketing and sales
- Understand state-of-art technology advancement and apply it to product development
- Generate new intellectual properties
- Proactively seek out innovative ideas and emerging technologies from both internal and external sources
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills
- Quickly identify issues, absorb new information, spot logical gaps, and develop technical solutions
- Provide appropriate coaching and development for junior team members
- Perform all laboratory work in a safe manner and comply with all regulations, safety precautions, PPE requirements, and 5S processes
- Master’s or PhD degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Sciences, Materials Science, or in any other related scientific areas with 10-15 years experiences of product development preferred
- Candidate with
B. S. degree with track record of 15-20 years of successful Product Development in the relevant area may be considered - Focus in thermoset materials, adhesive formulations, semiconductor packaging is a plus
- Strong oral and written communication skills, and excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong ability to design and implement experiments and define technical strategic directions for product development in semiconductor packaging
- Experience working in a professional laboratory
- The ability to work autonomously on multiple projects is needed.
- Must sit and stand alternately up to as much as 10 hours per day.
- Ability to occasionally / regularly lift 10 to 25 pounds.
- May require passing additional security screening based on customer requirements.

The salary for this role is $ - $. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
