Ramboll is seeking an Air Quality Consultant to join the firm’s offices in Los Angeles or Irvine, California, or Phoenix, Arizona in Spring/Summer 2026. You will join the Environment & Health department. As an Entry Level Air Quality Consultant you will be part of the Air & Climate Service Line within Ramboll’s Environment & Health Division. This group consists of like‑minded individuals who are passionate about air and climate issues and assisting Ramboll’s clients with their most challenging problems. The Air & Climate team consults with clients across various industries on a range of topics, including but not limited to emissions estimation, air dispersion modelling, human health risk assessment, climate change, permitting, and compliance.

• Preparing emissions calculations
• Conducting air quality reviews of emissions reduction or control
• Assisting in preparing major and minor source permit applications and environmental impact reports
• Critically reviewing and interpreting local, state, and federal environmental regulations

• B.S. or M.S. in Chemical, Mechanical, Civil or Environmental Engineering;
  Environmental Science;
  Atmospheric Science; or a science degree with air‑quality coursework with a GPA of 3.5 or higher
• Strong computing skills including high‑level use of spreadsheets and word processing
• Strong written and verbal communication, problem‑solving and organisation skills
• Ability to understand and interpret environmental regulations
• Database and GIS skills are preferred but not required
