The Senior Autonomous Systems Electrical Engineer will be responsible for a wide gamut of electrical engineering tasks including circuit and subsystem design, system integration, troubleshooting, wire harness design, electromechanical/electrical system testing, and data analysis. The ideal candidate will have strong problem‑solving skills and be able to work well both on an individual basis and in a team environment. The candidate must be able to function and communicate in an interdisciplinary team (mechanical, manufacturing, aerodynamic, firmware/software, etc.).
This position reports to the Electrical Engineering Manager, while working directly with Vehicle Technical Leads and Program Managers.
- Design and build subsystem/hardware/software for our aircraft systems
- Define subsystem requirements and specifications
- Prepare and create schematics, engineering drawings, test plans/procedures, data reports, presentations and work instructions
- Collaborate with mechanical, GNC, manufacturing, aerodynamic, procurement, quality assurance, and project/program management teams
- Communicate engineering findings to technical and non‑technical individuals
- Mentor other engineers, providing technical guidance and support, as well as constructive feedback
- Demonstrate and encourage adherence to best practices and standard procedures
- Proven understanding of electrical engineering principles
- 7+ years of hands‑on experience with electrical components and systems
- Ability to architect and design electrical/electromechanical systems
- Demonstrated skills in troubleshooting, validating/testing, and analyzing subshire/subsystems
- Experience in documenting designs and analyses with written reports, presentations, and engineering drawings
- Ability to design using CAD software such as Altium
- Proven communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in designing robotic and/or aircraft systems
- UAV experience highly desired
- Hands‑on experience with microcontrollers and firmware/software
- Experience in small to medium‑sized teams in an R&D environment dragen
- Familiarity with MIL spec hardware and harnessing standards
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering with 7+ years progressive experience
- Mid‑Senior level

Working Conditions- The diversity of work conditions is where there is little or no physical discomfort, such as a general office environment or warehouse.
- Must have the ability to stand, climb, occasionally lift a minimum of 25 lbs.
- Involves movement between departments, floors, and worksites to facilitate work.
It is essential that the candidate has a legal right to work in the United States and is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization and DoD Clearance.
Salary$145,000 – $185,000 annually. Salary depends on relevant work experience, education, training, essential skills, and/or other factors such as收藏 specialized or high‑demand professions. In addition to the annual salary, the position will be eligible for an annual bonus.
