Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Roadway Engineer I to join our team! In this role you will get to This role focuses on learning core engineering practices, contributing to project tasks, and supporting the team in delivering high‑quality solutions on time.

• Analyze and prepare roadway layout plans, Maintenance of traffic plans, Quantities/estimates, calculations and drawings for Highway and/or Expressway/Limited‑Access facilities and Arterial/Local roads using DOT and/or local jurisdiction criteria, with guidance provided on assigned tasks as required.
• Prepare engineering reports and contract documents for review
• Develop 3D Models of roadways, using Corridor Modeling in GEOPAK and/or Open Roads
• Responsible for managing timely completion of multiple assigned tasks
• Communicate effectively with team members, internal design groups, and external entities including clients, subconsultants, and relevant government agencies
• Effectively present proposed design solutions as part of internal project meetings; may attend and contribute to presentations with external parties
• May assign, track, and review tasks of technicians or designers; technical discretion applied to first revision of technician work product

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (or related field) and 3+ years of related work experience
• Micro Station and/or ORD experience
• Microsoft Office
• Bluebeam

Salary Range: $62,300.00 - $
