We’re partnered with a pioneering space technology company developing next‑generation Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) payloads for advanced Earth observation. They’re seeking an experienced RF Engineer to play a key role in the design, development, and optimization of RF systems that power cutting‑edge radar technologies.

In this position, you’ll work cross‑functionally with multidisciplinary engineering teams to solve complex technical challenges and advance mission‑critical systems. You’ll also provide analytical insight, technical guidance, and engineering leadership across a range of projects and new technology initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, analyze, and optimize RF systems for SAR payloads to meet mission and performance goals
  • Lead complex designs involving high‑speed digitizers, low‑noise RF circuits, FPGAs, and embedded processors
  • Collaborate closely with systems and payload engineers to test and validate SAR payloads and data collection performance
  • Conduct detailed RF and microwave analysis for antennas and antenna arrays
  • Develop RF subsystem requirements and translate them into actionable engineering specifications
  • Perform simulations and analysis using Python, MATLAB, or similar tools
  • Generate technical documentation and communicate findings effectively across teams
  • Support business development activities by contributing technical input to RFIs and RFPs
Required Skills & Experience
  • Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
  • 8+ years of experience in RF or electrical engineering roles
  • 4+ years of experience in spacecraft systems, payload design, or related areas
  • Strong background in high‑speed electronics, RF design, and phased antenna array testing
  • Expertise in electromagnetics, RF theory, and antenna design principles
  • Experience in RF test automation and data analysis
  • Familiarity with SAR imaging concepts and system‑level design
  • Mastery of signal processing fundamentals, including complex‑valued data manipulation
  • Must be eligible to obtain Security Clearance
Preferred Experience
  • Hands‑on experience with SAR payload design, integration, and testing
  • Background in space‑based or airborne payload development
  • Proficiency in embedded programming (C/C++) and FPGA design tools (Verilog/VHDL)

If you’re passionate about advancing SAR technology and contributing to meaningful missions in the space sector, this opportunity offers a chance to make an impact in a high‑performance engineering environment.
