Key Responsibilities- Lead the embedded software team:
Drive feature development, quality, and innovation in smart home camera products. - Own end‑to‑end product delivery:
Act as the R&D project lead, ensuring alignment and execution across hardware, production, cloud services, and mobile apps. - Shape product direction:
Partner with Product Management to translate customer needs into feasible solutions, from early research to production launch. - Define technical roadmap:
Guide system architecture and ensure scalable, secure, and reliable designs. - Coordinate global collaboration:
Align international R&D resources, bridge cultural gaps, and enable seamless teamwork. - Build and grow teams:
Recruit, mentor, and inspire top talent while fostering a culture of innovation and accountability.
- 10+ years of experience in software/hardware engineering, including 5+ years in an engineering leadership role.
- Strong technical background in embedded systems/software, with proven ability to represent engineering across hardware, cloud, and mobile.
- Track record of end‑to‑end product ownership—from architecture and development through manufacturing and market launch.
- Demonstrated success in building and scaling high‑performing engineering teams and leading large‑scale, cross‑functional projects.
- Deep understanding of software development life cycles, agile methodologies, and modern engineering practices.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical teams and executive stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Bilingual in English and Mandarin is a plus, but not required.
Salary range: $180,000–$250,000
