Manufacturing Engineer

Description

Seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to lead projects from initiation to completion, supporting quality and delivery goals. This role collaborates cross-functionally and provides daily support to the manufacturing floor.

• Conduct technical reviews of drawings and specifications.
• Develop bills of materials, manufacturing methods, and visual work instructions.
• Prepare costing estimates for new and repeat business.
• Analyze completed jobs to optimize costs and improve productivity.
• Design specialized tooling and fixturing for manufacturing and inspection.
• Monitor job schedules and milestones.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and inspection teams to ensure product quality and performance.
• Support root cause analysis and corrective action reporting.
• Provide training to team members as needed.

• 3+ years of manufacturing engineering experience, ideally in aerospace/defense and new product introduction (NPI) environments.
• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Hands‑on expertise with mechanical and electro‑mechanical products.
• Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and 3D models (Solid Works) and 2D drawings (AutoCAD).
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes: machining, assembly, and chemical processing.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross‑functional teams.

Intermediate Level

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Irvine, CA.

The pay range for this position is $38.46 - $52.88/hr.
