Ninyo & Moore Geotechnical & Environmental Sciences Consultants
Project Geotechnical Engineer – Irvine, California
Base pay range: $95,000.00/yr - $/yr
Key Responsibilities- Manage geotechnical, forensic, and construction projects
- Interact directly with clients and manage project budgets
- Coordinate and participate in field activities, including logging borings, test pits, trenches, and cores
- Evaluate geologic and seismic hazards
- Perform forensic evaluations of distressed structures and failed slopes
- Perform engineering analyses, including foundation design and evaluation, slope stability analysis, settlement analysis
- Prepare geotechnical engineering proposals and technical reports
- Provide technical support and mentorship to staff engineers, geologists, and field technicians
- B.S. in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering required
- M.S. in Geotechnical Engineering preferred
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE)
- 4+ years of experience in geotechnical consulting
- Familiarity with local engineering practices and California-based projects required
- Detail-oriented, team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills
