Advatech Pacific is an established Aerospace & Defense Engineering firm supporting our customers with engineering, modeling, research and development, design and analysis services. Currently we have a Manufacturing Engineer position available in Irvine, CA. This position requires high precision machining experience.

All positions require U.S. citizenship due to the nature of our work, customer requirements, Export Control Information (ECI), and security clearance requirements.

The ideal candidate must be a self‑starter with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• A background in complex machining, particularly for gears.
• A minimum of 8 years manufacturing experience.
• Must be able to read 2D drawings and create marking fixture drawings.
• A good working knowledge of lean manufacturing, product planning, and routing.
• Must have attention to detail and understand the need for accuracy, timeliness, and quality in assigned work tasks.
• Other desired skills include knowledge of Catia and CAD Software, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies.
• Knowledge of various Manufacturing Software and Tracking.
• Must have excellent report writing and problem‑solving skills.
• Extensive use of MS Office tools and strong written skills a must.

Requires a B.S. in Manufacturing, Industrial or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience in a related field.
