Position SummaryThe Hardware Engineer II will have a minimum of 3+ years of electronic circuits and systems design, integration, and testing experience. Knowledge of RF systems or motor drives and controls is desirable. Experience with test equipment such as oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, network analyzer, DMMs, and signal generators is required. Familiarity with OrCAD, MATLAB, Lab View, and/or VHDL is necessary.
Essential Functions- Work independently and with interdepartmental teams.
- Assist in the design and development of electronic systems.
- Write or assist in the development of test plans and test procedures.
- Assist in the automation of relevant test procedures and/or design and development of test fixtures.
- Assist in lab and field tests of electronic systems.
- Receive training in one or more of the following:
Digital Signal Processing (DSP), RF Circuit Design, Analog Circuit Design, Digital Electronics Design, FPGA Design, Algorithm Development (Pattern Recognition and Object Tracking), Lab View Automated Test Stand Design.
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering; 3+ years of electronic circuits and systems design. Master degree or MBA is considered a plus.
- Prior circuit design experience and experience working with lab test equipment.
- Familiar with one or more of the following:
OrCAD, MATLAB, Lab View, and/or VHDL. - Experience and training in the Military/Aerospace Industry is highly desirable.
- Professional and/or technical certifications from accredited institutions desired.
- Strong oral/written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Advanced troubleshooting skills required.
- Familiarity with AS9100 is desirable.
- Eligibility to obtain a DoD Security Clearance is a plus.
- May be required to travel occasionally.
Pay Range: $83,250 to $138,550 annually. Participation in Annual Incentive Program.
