Program Lead – Data Center Program – Advanced Manufacturing
This role will oversee and manage a Data Center Program within Advanced Manufacturing. The Program Lead serves as the central point of contact for all projects related to the program, requiring the management of a team and coordination of projects in a fast‑paced market. The candidate must interact with clients, create standard workflows, and develop people, processes, technology, and tools to continuously improve performance, deliverable quality, and user expertise.
Basepay range
$92,000.00/yr – $/yr
Key Responsibilities- Lead proposal development, including industry knowledge and preliminary bidding support.
- Consult on preliminary bidding and business development to understand client applications and tools.
- Stay updated on new technology and industry trends to serve clients’ best interests.
- Participate in departmental strategic planning for the program.
- Write and estimate proposals for new work within the program.
- Delegate program work to Advanced Manufacturing staff with the Integrated Design Team Manager.
- Develop leads and coordinators to understand and execute client‑specific workflows.
- Plan and schedule all necessary training for staff working on the program.
- Create, manage, and execute Data Center market standard operating procedures and processes.
- Drive cost reductions through innovative application implementations.
- Organize and manage workload hours for each program project, ensuring proper staff allocation.
- Demonstrate proven leadership of digital delivery teams.
- Communicate effectively with Jacobs disciplines, project managers, leadership, and clients.
- Prioritize work and manage time efficiently.
- Build project teams and mobilize quickly on projects.
- Manage design methodologies and drive continuous improvement throughout the project life cycle.
- Engage with IT and Operations SMEs to ensure program resources support overall scope.
- Authorize data access and coordinate efforts with other departments, including Center of Excellence technologies.
- Monitor project schedules to validate level of development (LOD).
- Capture information across multiple projects to create actionable data.
- Create graphics and dashboards for project teams.
- Manage new product implementations from concept through production launch and process sign‑off.
- Track progress on each program project to ensure deadlines and deliverables are met.
- Build relationships with clients and become a trusted advisor in the digital space.
- Engage with client Program Leads to discuss workflows and optimizations.
- Stay current on market trends and seek ways to improve processes.
- 7+ years of experience in a Digital Delivery role.
- Technical, professional, or bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (Architecture, Engineering, Drafting, etc.).
