Are you passionate about supporting students with behavioral needs in their efforts to succeed in a school setting? Ro Health is hiring for a talented Behavioral Aides to work in the Irvine, CA area in Orange County for the  school year!

This role focuses on providing moderate to severe behavioral support in school settings, with students ranging in grade level from pre‑K to high school. Experience supporting students with special needs in a 1:1 or 1:multiple capacity is highly desirable.

The providers will be assigned either to a 1:1 support role, where they work with a single student to provide behavioral and educational support throughout the day, or as a general classroom aide supporting multiple students as needed.

Overview:
  • In‑person/School setting
  • Irvine, CA
  • M‑F generally between 8am‑2:30pm (bell schedule will depend on each school)
  • 25‑29hrs/week
  • Starting $25.00
  • ASAP start!
Responsibilities:
  • Providing support either in a 1:1 or general capacity
  • Calm, clear, and concise communication with both children and adults
  • Data collection
  • Toileting support
  • Ability to stand, walk, and sit for long periods of time
  • Potential need to frequently bend, crouch, and lift (up to 40 pounds)
Qualifications:
  • At a minimum, candidates must be instructionally eligible
  • Experience in childcare and/or ABA
  • Associate’s degree preferred
  • Previous experience working in a school setting preferred
  • Strong assessment skills
  • Passion for supporting students in the learning process
  • Inclination to work well in a team environment
