  • Identify students requiring additional support and coordinate appropriate interventions in collaboration with faculty, administrators, and caregivers.
  • Maintain comprehensive, confidential, and compliant records aligned with professional and legal standards.
Academic Guidance
  • Advise students on academic planning, course selection, and strategies to support effective learning and study habits.
  • Monitor academic performance, identify areas requiring attention, and work closely with teachers to ensure consistent and coordinated support.
  • Provide structured guidance in developing executive-functioning skills, including organization, time management, and decision-making.
College and Post-Secondary Advising

  • Ensure students and families receive current, accurate information on U.S. college admissions practices, scholarships, and financial aid opportunities.
  • Lead informational sessions and workshops for students and parents on college readiness, application strategies, and postsecondary pathways.
  • Remain informed about evolving trends in higher education, selective admissions policies, and considerations for international applicants.
Collaboration and School Engagement
  • Partner with teachers, staff, and families to cultivate a supportive, equitable, and inclusive school climate.
  • Serve as a resource to faculty by providing insights on student well-being, classroom dynamics, and social-emotional learning practices.
  • Facilitate referrals to external mental health providers or community-based services when warranted.
  • Participate actively in school initiatives, committees, and ongoing professional development programs.
