Overview

The School of Business and Economics at Concordia University Irvine (Irvine, CA) invites applications for a full-time faculty appointment in Data Analytics, Finance and Accounting beginning Fall 2026. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellence in teaching and scholarship at the university level, primarily in Data Analytics with secondary duties that could include teaching Finance, Accounting and Economics. Candidates must be able to advance the mission and core convictions of Concordia University Irvine as a Great Commission University with a clear commitment to integrating Christian faith into teaching, relationships with students and colleagues, and engagement with prospective students and families.

This is a full-time, in-person faculty position with rank and salary commensurate with credentials and experience.

• Teach lower-division courses in Business Data Analytics, Accounting, Finance, Econometrics, Economics, and other courses as needed by the department.
• As conditions permit, teach graduate courses in the MBA programs.
• Other courses may include Ethics, Management, Operations and other core business courses.
• Provide service to the university as a business club Faculty Advisor, on committees, or in other capacities.
• Support departmental initiatives such as on-campus speaking engagements, supplemental instruction, and prospective student recruitment events (on and off campus).
• Develop new courses as needed by the department.
• Network and maintain relationships in the business community.
• Participate in a variety of extracurricular and co-curricular events in support of students, business programs, and community events, as invited.
• Model and encourage behavior that supports the business school and university mission, vision, and strategic plan.

The School of Business offers 3 undergraduate degrees:
Business Administration (with 10 emphases), Economics and Sports Business. Three MBA programs are offered:
Traditional MBA, MBA Sports Business and MBA Managerial Science (STEM). The undergraduate program offers emphases including:
Accounting, Business Data Analytics, Business Economics, Data Science (Finance), Finance, Healthcare Management, International Business, Marketing, and Management.

This is a full-time, in-person faculty position in the School of Business and Economics at Concordia University Irvine s Turtle Rock campus. The appointment includes all rights and responsibilities of full-time faculty status. The faculty member will teach courses in the business school and participate in departmental and university activities, including convocations. Responsibilities also include faculty service to the university, the academic community, the church, and the broader public.

• Master s degree in Business or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
• Minimum 2-5 years of teaching experience preferred

Full-time exempt faculty. Salary range: $66,000–$98,000 per year. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 403B, pension and health and wellness programs.
