The Irvine School of Music, one of the largest and fastest-growing music schools in Irvine, is seeking qualified Part-Time Piano Teachers to join our dynamic team. • Pay: $26 – $32/hr to start, with increases based on student retention.
• Hours:
  
  Flexible teaching hours available:
  • MON-FRI: 2‑9 PM
  • SAT/SUN: 9 AM – 5 PM

• Teach private and/or group lessons
• Communicate effectively with parents and students
• Assign homework and prepare students for recitals
• Create engaging lesson plans
• Attend student recitals and events
• Participate in ongoing pedagogical training
• Develop students through our unique pedagogical methods

• Bachelor’s degree in Music (or current enrollment in a music program)
• Willingness to commute to Irvine
• Ability to pass a Federal Background Check
• Fluent in English
• Punctual and dependable
• Passionate about teaching and knowledgeable about reputable teaching methods
• Minimum 12‑month commitment for non‑substitute positions

• Experience teaching children ages 5 and up
• Familiarity with both private and group classes
• Ability to teach Jazz and Pop styles alongside Classical
• Master’s degree in your teaching area
• Interest in working with young children in our early childhood program
• Experience with students with learning disabilities (ADHD, ADD, Autism)
• Ability to teach advanced‑level students
