Primary-Care Education and Community Engagement - TNT Program Coordinator role at UC Irvine
The position is responsible for supporting the operation and continuous improvement of the Train New Trainers (TNT) education programs within the Office of Medical Education. The role works with faculty and staff to provide an educational program designed to train primary care providers to address the most frequently encountered pain and addiction-related disorders and treatments. In addition to the TNT Primary Care Psychiatry Fellowship, this position may be responsible for other TNT expansion programs (i.e. PC-TEAM, CAP Track & international training) and will ensure that annual requirements are met and educational activities based on the curriculum are maintained.
The role demonstrates initiative to improve quality and customer service by striving to exceed fellow expectations, contributes to positive team goals, and coordinates improvement. Along with the Administrative Director, the program liaison serves with various agencies, organizations, and groups, prepares documentation associated with program operations, distributes documentation, retains records, maintains computerized and hard-copy files of program records, and develops processes to improve task efficiency by standardizing formats for routine correspondence and identifying areas for improved efficiency.
- Coordinates program operations, including teaching and learning activities, program curriculum, learner scheduling, maintaining databases, tracking learner compliance, and program accreditation.
- Prepares a variety of documentation associated with program operations; distributes documentation and retains records as appropriate.
- Develop processes to improve task efficiency by standardizing formats for routine correspondence and identify areas for improved efficiency.
- Serves as program liaison with various agencies, organizations, and groups.

- Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training.
- Advanced knowledge of planning and organizing conferences, events or travel.
- Investigative, data analysis, and reporting skills.
- Ability to generate computer reports, check for errors, correct and submit accurate reports.
- Skills include entering, maintaining, extracting, and analyzing data in electronic systems.
- Flexibility to work nights and weekends for conferences and meetings.
