Position OverviewThe ideal candidate will demonstrate exemplary interpersonal and communication skills, along with a genuine commitment to connecting families with outstanding educational opportunities. This role requires a relational, forward-thinking leader who effectively integrates data-driven insights with a comprehensive understanding of the independent school landscape.
The Director of Admission will oversee and advance all aspects of the school’s admission strategy, including the attraction, enrollment, and retention of mission-aligned students. The successful candidate will cultivate and sustain strong relationships across the Concord community—students, families, faculty, alumni—and will serve as a visible ambassador of the school’s values and vision.
Key Responsibilities Strategic Enrollment & Admissions Operations- Oversee the full admissions process, from initial inquiry through enrollment, ensuring a personalized and professional experience for each family.
- Monitor and analyze enrollment metrics, converting insights into actionable strategies to achieve school-wide goals.
- Maintain the integrity of admissions data and utilize CRM tools to inform decisions and forecast trends.
- Develop effective communication plans to strengthen prospective family engagement and satisfaction.
- Build and sustain relationships with local schools, educational consultants, and community organizations to enhance visibility and referrals.
- Represent Concord Prep at community events, fairs, and conferences to promote the school’s values and academic programs.
- Collaborate with families and staff to connect students with external opportunities and community resources.
- Coordinate signature admissions events including open houses, preview sessions, and student visit programs.
- Partner with the Marketing Department to align messaging, digital campaigns, and outreach strategies with enrollment priorities.
- Manage the admissions and local marketing budget, ensuring efficient use of resources and measurable outcomes.
- Develop regular reports and projections for leadership, analyzing key indicators such as inquiry volume, conversion rates, and retention.
- Stay informed about market trends and competitor developments within the independent school sector.
- Identify and implement best practices in admissions, family relations, and strategic enrollment management.
- Serve as an active contributor to the campus leadership team, ensuring enrollment strategies align with the school’s educational mission.
- Promote a culture of professionalism, collaboration, and service within the admissions team.
- Support Concord’s values of integrity, inclusivity, and excellence in all interactions with families and community partners.
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred in Education, Communications, Marketing, or Business.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in admissions, enrollment management, outreach, or client relations.
- Experience in independent or private school settings preferred.
- Demonstrated success in developing partnerships and achieving measurable growth objectives.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust across diverse audiences.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills; proficiency in CRM systems and data reporting tools.
- A proactive, adaptable mindset with the ability to balance strategic vision and day-to-day execution.
