Description
City of Hope Medical Group is seeking a Psychiatrist to join our Orange County team. We are a rapidly expanding, nationally recognized cancer institute hiring a full-time Psychiatrist at the Assistant, Associate or Professor level to join our clinical faculty at City of Hope, Lennar Foundation Cancer Center, hospital, and surrounding network sites in Southern California. We seek research- and mission-minded physicians to provide inpatient and outpatient care with patient-centered care at the core of our work.
Our interdisciplinary team—comprising specialist physicians, nurses, social workers, nutritionists, chaplains, and others—works with patients to address medical, psychosocial, and behavioral health needs during and after cancer treatment.

Position Highlights- Provide patient-centered care in collaboration with a world-class team of physicians, including a full spectrum of supportive care and integrative oncology services.

- Base Salary Range: $300,000 - $330,000. The range listed is exclusively for base compensation for full-time employment and does not include incentive compensation or benefits. Actual compensation will be adjusted for experience, training, hospital/community need and other factors.

- Academic record consistent with appointment at the Assistant, Associate or Professor level at an ACGME-accredited program.
- Additional training in psycho-oncology or consultation-liaison psychiatry.
- Experience with cancer patients, preferred but not required.
- Applicants must have an M.D., D.O. or equivalent degree from an accredited educational institution and boarded (or board eligible) in psychiatry.
- Possession of, or eligibility for, unrestricted medical license in the State of California.
