Hospitalist - Nocturnist with Centers for Family Medicine
Location:
Orange County, California.
Compensation: $271,500 - $401,500; benefits include a comprehensive package, incentive & recognition programs, equity stock purchase, and 401(k) (subject to eligibility).

Schedule:
7 on / 7 off - Schedule:
7 day on/7 day off + 2 nights (total day + night = 206 shifts/year) - Day shifts:
Conduct hospital rounds on all patients referred to the service - Night shifts:
Admitting;
Physician stays at hospital overnight - Provide patient care in a manner consistent with hospital medical staff by‑laws and referring physician requests
- Communicate with families, referring physicians, specialists, administration and hospital departments in the care and treatment of patients referred to the service
- Work with hospitals and clinical staff, social services, utilization management and other members of the interdisciplinary teams
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to discuss patient progress, variances and achievement of expected outcomes and plan of care
- Assume responsibility to ensure that all necessary documentation is accurate, complete and timely, including medical records, billing/coding and any other documentation requested by the hospital from time to time
- Unrestricted California State Medical License
- Current California DEA certificate
- Board certification in Internal Medicine (B/BC)
- Welcome 2024 IM graduates
- EMR proficiency
- Self‑starter with the ability to practice with a high degree of independence
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Managed Care and Medi‑Cal experience desirable
