Overview
GAA Architects, Inc. is an Irvine, CA-based architectural practice seeking an intermediate architectural staff member with a degree in Architecture and 3+ years of U.S. commercial and/or institutional project experience.
This role offers mentorship, latitude to learn, and opportunities to engage with a diverse portfolio. Position details include a pay range of $30 - $45 hourly and a collaborative, fast-paced work environment. The firm works nationally and internationally on projects spanning e-commerce, industrial, logistics, automotive, retail, remodels, entertainment, aerospace, interiors, and restaurant sectors.

Responsibilities- Prepare Schematic Design, Design Development, and Construction Document packages while maintaining the interests of the firm, the client, and the design intent with minimal supervision.
- Produce high-quality work that reflects positively on the individual and the firm; opportunities for design work may be available based on aptitude and interests.
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture with 3+ years of U.S. commercial and/or institutional project experience.
- Strong communication skills, a positive attitude, good understanding of codes and constructability, and an ambition to practice architecture.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit; experience with Excel, Word, and Sketch Up. ARE/LEED exams passed are a plus.
Excellent collaboration with Principals on a diverse portfolio and client types. Familiarity with a variety of project types and a willingness to engage in design opportunities as they arise.
