Customer Service Representative

Description We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our team in Irvine, California, on a contract basis. In this role, you will provide essential support to our banking branch by delivering excellent customer service and managing daily teller operations. This position offers a 90-day contract duration with the potential for extension based on branch requirements.

Responsibilities:

- Process a variety of banking transactions efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, and check cashing.

- Handle cash accurately and securely while adhering to company policies and procedures.

- Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving account-related issues.

- Maintain a detail-oriented and friendly demeanor in all customer interactions.

- Assist in managing heavy retail traffic within the branch.

- Support branch operations by ensuring compliance with regulatory and security standards.

- Respond to inbound calls promptly, providing accurate information and assistance.

- Collaborate with team members to meet branch goals and ensure smooth daily operations.

- Utilize order entry systems effectively to process transactions and customer requests.

- Uphold the confidentiality and security of customer information at all times. Requirements - Previous experience in branch banking or teller operations is required.

- Strong cash handling skills with attention to accuracy and security.

- Proven ability to deliver outstanding customer service in high-pressure environments.

- Experience in retail or payday/check cashing centers is highly desirable.

- Proficiency in handling inbound and outbound calls with professionalism.

- Familiarity with order entry systems and basic computer skills.

- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
