Collections Specialist
Irvine, CA | Onsite | $22/hr to start + strong bonus potential
We’re hiring immediately for a fast-paced Collections Specialist role within a tight‑knit collections team — and interviews are happening TODAY and tomorrow. If you thrive in high-volume outreach, confident negotiation, and structured performance goals, this role is built for you.
About the RoleYou’ll handle 150–200 outbound calls per day using a dialer system, contacting students who are 60+ days overdue and helping them understand and resolve their balances. Calls are quick, averaging 6–7 minutes, and require confidence, clarity, and the ability to move conversations forward.
This position blends collections, sales, and negotiation while also working with marketing leads. You’ll also use skip tracing tools to locate students when needed.
What We’re Looking For- Bilingual Spanish (required)
- 6 months to 1 year experience in:
- High-volume outbound calling (150–200 daily)
- Collections (consumer collections preferred)
- Sales or negotiation-heavy environments
- Call center roles that involved selling
- Assertive, confident phone presence
- Ability to type 60 WPM
- Comfortable working with performance metrics
- Computer literate, quick navigation skills
- Able to negotiate payment plans and settlements
This role is designed for someone who works well in a fast, structured, metric-driven environment.
ScheduleMonday–Friday
- 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
One Saturday per month required
- Mandatory 4-hour shift
- You’ll leave early one weekday in exchange
Training is hands-on and direct. You’ll work one-on-one with the Collections Supervisor for your first 1–4 days, with most new hires on the phones by Day 4.
